I spent nearly 20 years as an IT developer, consultant and manager in a broad range of industries before I got into publishing as the founding editor for what is now ComputerWorld Canada. I was also the founding editor of CIO Canada magazine and was, for many years, the editorial director of IT World Canada's family of print and online products. Now, as Community Advocate, I'm still focused on the issues and concerns of the communities served by IT World Canada and represent those interests both within the company and out in the industry...and I'm happy to leave the company's editorial leadership in the very capable hands of the talented and energetic Shane Schick. I’m delighted to participate in the 2010 Blogging Idol competition, not as a contestant, but as a judge. Happy posting.
