A New iPad Has Arrived
Ok. Not really new. I got multiple emails the other day to announce that the iPad with Wi-Fi and 3G is now available. Only in Canada, you say? No, not likely! Maybe we’ll get both models at the same time!
This brings up the question: which one should I buy, if and when we are able buy any of them? This presumes that you ARE going to buy one. You really shouldn’t miss out on the birth of a new market segment now, should you? Its the same price as a couple of diners in a nice restaurant (or one in a really, really nice restaurant).
I wish there was a USB port so I could use my Rogers Rocket with it. I wish that I could link it to my iPhone and use that 3G instead. I wish my iPhone and iPad could interconnect really easily. I hope I don’t need to have two versions of all my iPhone apps or that at least iTunes manages it all - is there an app for that? This starts to get confusing……
I do hope, when people discover the applications for the iPad that we don’t yet know about, that I find out quickly so that I can be the first on my block to have them. And that iTunes doesn’t block them!
In the meantime, we’re still waiting up here in Canada. Come on, Apple, let’s get things moving!
