Team Twitter
This morning when I dutifully headed over to Canadian-developed Twitter dashboard Hootsuite I was prompted that one of my profiles had multiple owners and that I needed to assign one as primary, then once entering the upgraded API there were a slew of new tools for each of my twitter accounts where I could administer, invite, sync these accounts with one another.
Now I know President Obama doesn’t do his own twittering, neither do many companies or movie stars, but I guess I hadn’t realized just how many twitter accounts are now being manned (womanned) by teams to keep up the feeds and flow of information.
Given I used Twitter for reading news 60-70% of the time and posting only 30-40% it seems I might be in the minority given this trend of using twitter as another broadcast versus discussion tool.
An interesting trend in social media evolution continues…
